Lincoln Caverns is located in the Heart of Raystown Country, one of the most scenic mountain recreation areas in the Eastern United States. Nearby Raystown Lake, the largest lake within the state of Pennsylvania offers 110 miles of shoreline, cruises, boating, swimming, fishing, picnicing, camping, and two large recreation areas: Seven Points and Lake Raystown Resort.
Fine lodging and eating accommodations are 3 miles east at Huntingdon. Swigart Automobile Museum is east on U.S. 22, south on U.S. 522 at Orbisonia is East Broadtop Railroad. Altoona area's railroad attractions and amusement parks are within a 40 minute drive, as is Penn State University.
Lincoln Caverns is the easiest cavern in America to reach, located directly on U.S. Rt.22 (William Penn Highway), 3 miles west of Huntingdon, PA.
From The PA Turnpike: Using the Ft. Littleton Exit, north on U.S. 522, then west on U.S. 22; or Using the Breezewood Exit, west on U.S.30, north on Rt.26, then 2 miles west on U.S. 22; or using the Bedford Exit, north on I-99, then east on U.S. 22.
From I-80: Using the Milesburg Exit, south on U.S. 220/I-99, South on Rt.453 to Waterstreet, then 7 miles east on U.S. 22; Using the Clearfield Exit, East on U.S. 322, South on Rt. 350, South on U.S. 220/I-99, South on Rt. 453 to Waterstreet, then 7 miles east on U.S. 22.
